Florida West Ballet’s scholarship dance program is a premier dance program. Many alumni of this program continue to pursue their dance careers with prestigious professional companies such as the New York City Ballet, the Pittsburgh Ballet, the San Francisco Ballet, the Rock School of the Pennsylvania Ballet, and the Joffrey Ballet. Others join exclusive full year training programs such as the Harid Conservatory and the No. Carolina School of the Arts, and major university dance programs.

Florida West Ballet raises the funds required for this program through a variety of means. The student’s very reasonable tuition only funds a small portion of FWB’s expenses. Fund raisers, private donations and public grants provide the additional support for FWB.

FWB invites you to support this special program by sponsoring a dancer via our Pas de Deux program, placing an advertisement in FWB’s Spring Performance Program, or by making a general contribution.

In return for your tax-deductible donation you will receive the pleasure of knowing you have helped provide these young talented dancers the opportunity they otherwise would not have. We extend an invitation to you to attend one of our performances, during which you will see firsthand the exceptional talent of these young dancers. Additionally, the Spring Performance Program will carry your name as a donor contributing to the success of Florida West Ballet. Your donation will help to ensure the continued health of a vibrant arts environment in our community.
